Expert Surveys and Reviews should pay MORE!

OK, I don't care who you are, you are an expert at something!

Whether it's video games, computers, restaurants or baby diapers.
You have enough knowledge of something to give a very good review
about a product or business. And you should get paid a lot more for
your knowledge!!

Experience with products is worth a lot of money to companies.

Example...

Procter & Gamble wants to know what REAL parents think about their
Pamper "Baby Dry" Disposable Baby Diapers brand. Which they claim is
supposed to keep the baby dry over night and is better than regular pampers.

A real review by REAL parents says....

"The Procter & Gamble brand pamper "Baby Dry" disposable baby pamper
#6 is the worst pamper we have ever tried. Actually the regular Pamper
brand without the "baby Dry" logo was 10 times better than this brand,
the "baby dry" brand leaked really easily and always caused a problem. I think they
should really stop their claims because in real life they do not pass the test."

I think this kind of real review is not only important but necessary to companies,
I have the knowledge on the product and I have the knowledge to give a great review
so why treat me like a 50 cent survey? I'm worth at least $5 to $10 bucks!

Just a thought to fusioncash and advertisers.

  I agree with you! Being a parent myself I have used the Pamper diapers you described and those parents thought the same thing as me. Companies only screw up more when they try too hard. It seems like always the original brand is the best. We do need to be paid more for our opinion. This is a great topic you started so I thought I would reply...couldn't sleep. Bye!

I agree with you that companies should want more input. I think often times in alot of this research there is more interest in telling the sponsers what they want to hear to support their hypothesis or whatever than they do in actually reporting negative results.  There are focus groups and other research studies that pay much more but even there they have specific objectives and I think research companies tend to not want too much negative feedback for fear that there could be a perception that the way the study was conducted was the problem. There are so many things that can bias the results like the way a question was worded or the possible responses to a question or other questions that were asked.

There is no reliable way to verify whether someone is an 'expert' in a given area.  And the definition of 'expert' is likely to vary substantially from person to person (or market research firm).  Very high paying surveys lead to abuse.  You have the bad apples to thank for the lack of them on GPT sites.
