I have a whole long list of things I would do if I had that much. I'd give my father a couple million, I'd give at least a million to the NRA, and probably another million to all the Veterans organizations such as the DAV. Then I'd buy a farm in Virginia. I'd get a new vehicle, and try to buy a small island with a lighthouse on it, if I could find one that I could afford. I probably wouldn't have anything left after that. But if I did, I'd buy gold with it.

I would definitely pay off my debts and put at least half of it away where I couldn't touch it for a few years. I would definitely quit my sucky job. I like where I live but sure could do a lot of remodeling! I'd probably give a lot of it away.

I day dream and night dream this question all the time.  I would definetly get a lawyer and accountant first.  Pay off bills establish college funds for my 5 kids and 2 nephews, pay off my parents mortgage.  I would get me a black 1968 Shelby Mustang a great big ranch with horse stables and enough land to run cattle.  I would donate a lot to childrens organazations and help my church back home finish building their new building and then maybe open the restaurant I've been dreaming of for the last 15 years.  I just would make sure everyone I love would be taken care of for the rest of their lives.

I would donate most of it to charities and animal shelters. I would live comfortably but not beyond my means. Open my own local animal shelter and buy land for conservation.

The first thimg I would do is hire a good lawyer, a financial advisor and an accountant.  I am sure that this is the only way to be sure that I wouldn't spend the money foolishly, and that I wouldn't be "hounded" by people trying to get my money!
