Get something off your chest - VENT HERE
« on: April 21, 2010, 09:57:08 am »
There are times when we all need to vent about something that makes you so mad, or you just need to get something off your chest. Venting makes you feel better and if someone has advice for your dilemma, thats even better.
Some of the offers really get me going with their endless questions to answer just to make 50 cents. Then an hour later I just give up because I fear throwing my computer out the window. Then, there are those offers in the special section that just don't credit, how irritating is that? All the endless hours of clicking just to get to the end of the page, and nothig to show for it.
If you have a gripe about anything at all, get it off your chest. Talk about it, you will feel better in the end.

My problem is our house phone has not worked since Friday April 16,2010 and the phone company refuses to send a repair man out here to check it out/fix it. The problem is in the outside line so therefore it is there responsibilty. All I have on my phone when i pick it up is a real loud buzzing sound. I have even bought new phones and taken the phones outside to the dmark box and its still the same thing. But my dsl works just fine. This is so annoying being without out house phone and to make things worse I have already paid this months bill but Im not getting the service I paid for. If that happened to any of yall wouldnt that make you mad to?

I know what you mean, or you are 10minutes into the survey, and you get a screen saying that you dont qualify for the survey.

Hope your phone gets worked on soon.  My sister - in - law made a call for her mom when this happened to her.  3rd party anger seemed to help a lot.

My gripe is the surveys that require you to download a program.  My computer is so slow already and these don't help! Oh, yeah, and surveys that aren't surveys.  We had a good survey on the dailies but now it seems to go right to a sister site that you have to register for even though it says you qualified for a survey.  So, I suppose no credit for this and it took over half an hour!

My step-son's mother was playing catch with him and hit him in the mouth with the ball. His front tooth is loose now and he has to have it pulled out. The dentist says it will grow back in approx. 6 months. His mother swears up and down she didnt throw the ball very hard. WELL YOU THREW IT HARD ENOUGH TO LOOSEN HIS TOOTH!!! GEEZZ!!! >:( He also got a fat lip and a bitten tongue. He won't play catch with her anymore, she said. I WONDER WHY!! I know accidents happen....... :'( it just makes me very upset.

Is'nt that better now that we got that load off our chests. Life can be so annoying sometimes you just want to scream, rant and rave. Today I went to the store to get some groceries and when I came out of the store someone had left their cart in front of my car and it slammed into my rear bumper causing a dent. Now that pissed me off so much, I wanted to kick someones rear end. How ignorant some people are. It's just beyond me. Oh yeah, and people who slam doors in your face, thats another one that I want to beat the heck out of someone for. They know your right behind them entering the same building. Also people who don't say thank you when you have the decency to hold a door open for them. Sometimes people can be so freaking ignorant. Ok now I feel a wee bit better, until tomorrow that is.

most of mine involve people. i've noticed
that as i get older, i'm much more easily-annoyed
at silly things. such as:

...women who fumble for exact change at the register,
endlessly digging through their purse.

...never having any time for hobbies. and wanting to
relax and do absolutely nothing in the free time that i
do get.

...people who don't get the office. this is less of
an annoyance and more so a disappointment, but eh,
what do i expect?

...having too much CRAP. i want to purge my apartment
of every single tiny thing that i haven't used in the last
six months.

...being jealous of my in-laws who get to go to hawaii
every year.

i sound like such an unhappy person!
nah, i'm just a bitter betsy sometimes  :P
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

Spell check people!  Please use it.  I'm just appalled at times with the poor grammar, writing and spelling that I find on message boards, this one included.  I know everyone isn't a Rhodes Scholar and I may not have a PhD myself but good grief.  Is it laziness?  It saddens me in a way to think someone actually got through school (or maybe they didn't even graduate in the first place) with such poor writing skills.  Is this what our educational system has produced in the last 20 years?

Greedy People...
Especially these T.V. and Internet GURUS that say they always have your success in mind. That's crap. They only care about ONE thing...getting YOUR money in THEIR wallet. I get a kick out of these types of people that state that they have made millions of dollars in business or on the internet but then they still "need"to charge you some astronomical fee for the "privilege" of using their "system". Make's me want to "throw my lunch".  :BangHead:
