sad stories/economy
« on: April 16, 2010, 01:56:33 pm »
Recently I have been hearing a lot of different stories about people being affected by this economy. Just want to say this is a good way to get some extra income and people need to keep their minds open to new ideas and adjust with the times bc there are still many opportunities to reach your goals and become successful.

I always try to be a really optimistic person, being young and at that point in my life where most people are beginning to see success (if they've been working hard enough towards it) it's kind of frustrating to be facing an economy where it seems that even if you work your butt off you can still just get the short end of the stick.  But I just keep working because one day it will pay off!

Don't get too depressed, you got to get up and dust yourself off and keep trying to prosper...........I am just happy that there is a Fusion Cash to help earn a few dollars.

This is a terrible time in America, our economy can't get much worse. The majority of people who were released from jobs due to all the cut backs and down sizing still can not find jobs. There are those who hold college degrees yet they are still unemployed. This is the case because what few jobs are available the companies refuse to hire some one who is over qualified for fear the economy might improve and they will either have to pay them more or lose them. I say this... these people may be "over qualified" but they didn't get that way by being slackers and bums. They worked to get the degrees and they have worked to have an impressive resume... so why not give them a chance? And with things like they are now.... well don't think that the old rule applies if you are a veteran, hah... most of the time they don't even take that as consideration any more! Our economy is dying and slowly so are the American citizens. People need to realize that if there are more people employed in this country then there will be more consumers, because they will actually have money to spend! Wow... and I am not even a rocket scientist and figured that one out!

I find that in Atlanta companies are purposefully hiring over qualified people to fill IT positions. I can only hope that things will start to get better and the people taking those jobs move into positions that pay what they deserve opening the spots up for the people that the job is actually suited for.
