Free offers are not always free

Pays2Shop, for instance, requires the completion of a paid offer to qualify as do most of the offers listed as free.  When I asked about this I was told that these offers only need to be completed til that point to qualify yet I have not received credit for any of these offers despite having filled out these offers to that point.  I think these offers should not be in the free section.  That is misleading.

"Free" just means that it costs nothing to get credited for the offer.  It doesn't mean that the advertiser isn't going to try and sell you something while you're visiting their site.  For the advertisers, it's the entire point of this whole thing.

It IS free.  Once you get to the page that says "congratulations, now complete 2 of the offers below.....(or something to that effect).  You are now eligible to receive credit.  It's up to you whether you want to continue on to actually complete the rest of the offers with credit cards, etc in order to get the $1000 gift card.

The difference between that and an offer in another section like "shopping" or "trials" or "holiday cash back" etc., is that you DO have to pay for something or give a credit card number before you're even eligible for the credit.

So the "free offers" really are free offers.  When Fusion Cash says "offer", they mean the credit that you will receive costs nothing on your part except for your time.

no one is lieing.. they are under free as they are free... you do not need to enter any cc info. or personal info...


you complete each page untill you get to the congrats or thank you page... where the silver offers n such are... you leave the page open for about 30 seconds. then close it out. wait about 5 seconds then delete your cookies before doing the next offer.... not all offers approve for anyone.... but as long as you are doing them right and completely. and using legit info. 99% of the time you will get credit. so look back and see if you are doing something wrong.. as i have been credited for many of these types of offers and never paid a dime.

It would help to get your point across if you had actually read the post before responding.  I wasn't saying that they anything about them not trying to sell something.  What I was saying is that IT DOES NOT CREDIT when you complete the offers to that point.  Therefore they are NOT free.

I've always had those type of offers credit when I reached the page that stated, " Congratulations "

You do not have to complete the Silver/ Gold offers. When you have reached that Congratulations page, you are done! And closing your browser down to quickly after reaching those pages can cause your offer not to credit b/c the cookie hasn't had enough time to send the info to FC! I don't know how many times we have said this trying to help people here. But people would rather complain about NOT being credited than to take some advice.

Any offer you do here, when you get to the LAST page of offer completion, leave the page open for about 15-30 seconds. That ensures that the cookie has had time enough to send the info. Bet your crediting ratio improves!

I think she got her point across perfectly. Free means you dont have to pay anything. When you fill out those offers marked "free", even if you dont get the credit for it, you still didnt have to pay for anything. Right? So....technically, those are free offers.

There is absolutely NO need for you to be so rude!  I read your post TWICE before responding.  The offer not crediting was only ONE point you were trying to make and the rest was about the fact that you have to complete paid offers.  I was only trying to clarify for you.

well from what i understand not all r free because there is no free section just no CC needed which mean it MAY  cost you in the form of a higher phone bill or being sent an paper bill in the mail from the company, you just dont have to give out your CC #, some ARE free but i have came across a few that do charge ( my cell phone bill ) in the case of one of the no CC needed offers i completed, thats how i found out the hard way. and even after charging me i still did'nt get credit

Pays2Shop you do!Not! have to Enter Credit Card Info!Answer yes or No To the End where it will say Thank You Page do not do the silver offers or gold or ect! On None of those Surveys where you answer yes or no's!

They credit for 90% of everyone else who does them correctly.  And you're confusing "not being free" with "not crediting".  Some offers credit, some don't.  Continuing on with the sponsor's offers is not going to better your chance of being credited for the offer.

Yeah, that is why I refuse to do any offers requiring my cell phone number. So far, I have done well with avoiding charges for offers that I wasnt interested in. Do you know what is a GREAT offer? I know I mentioned it before but Im gonna say it again!! If you have kids, the Childrens Book of The Month Club offer is awesome. FC pays you--I think $12.00 to join the club and you then you get all these books in the introductory offer for like $3.00 (when you deduct what FC pays you). Your only obligation is to buy 2-4 books within the next 2 years! I hardly find that difficult to fulfill! Check it out!
