help! referral bonus not showing up

Ok. I referred one of my friends to this site.  She completed everything and signed up with a valid e-mail address. However, she said that she didn't receive the confirmation letter in her inbox and it didn't show up in her spam folder, yet I see her username on my referral list. What's going on?

She has to confirm her email address for you to get the credit.
