I went on one this past August, and the Belize excursion i did was the zipline tour of the jungle. It was a blast!! A very bumpy ride to the place, but you really get to see the actual country that way, not just the tourist traps. Then you're literally zipping down cables up to 250 feet above the jungle floor. You're very well-secured in the harness, etc, and the employees are very well-trained. It was awesome!

I don't like being 'on' the water so I would never even consider this BUT my Sister goes every year and loves it. She always says that it's worth every penney and as soon as she gets back she starts planning the next cruise.

Patty, your cruise sounds fantastic. It's still a ways off but be sure to tell us about it when you return. Better yet if you can, keep us up to date while you are there.

I went on a Carnival cruise and when I discovered they charge $4 a day plus 75 cents a MINUTE for Internet service, that took cruising OFF my list of things to do for good.
