Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Olympics
« on: February 28, 2010, 05:32:14 pm »
I am watching the beginning of the closing ceremonies of the Olympics.  I missed the opening ceremonies so I am glad to be able to watch the closing ceremonies.   I love the Olympics.  How did others feel?   Isn't that sculpture magnificent?     :star:

It was pretty sweet, although the "I'm a canadian..." was really lame from those few people. I loved Neil Young though...

The closing ceremonies always make me a little sad... especially this year.  You get so involved in watching for 2+ weeks and then the reality sinks in that you have to now wait for four years to live it all again.  I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Olympics this year.  Outside of the few early snafus and what I feel has been pretty bad NBC coverage, this is the first Winter Olympics I have really gotten into since probably Lillehammer.

I agree with you, the Winter Olympics are typically boring, but this years were a little better. I didn't watch a ton of them, but the US did pretty darn good! We just keep on getting better every year!!!
