Unemployment... Anyone?

Ok so who has been on unemployment and now is about to get cut-off because of congress? I got laid off so I got on it and now they are talking about just cutting it off. I am not sure what is going on but dang. That is why I am using fusioncash is to make some kind of money even though it may not be much. I have been trying to find a job but there isnt hardly anything out there. 

Anyone else in the same boat?

My mom is having the same prob. She's been doing odd jobs for folks for cash but its still not enough to live on. Bummer.

my son and my husband are on it and will loss there funding if congress doesn't vote for it.

Been there....My hubby was able to find a job again last Aug and I started a part-time job also....We are not making anywhere close to the money he used to make but we keep plodding along and hoping things will turn around.

Ive been unemployed since feb 09  I have 7 weeks left of unemployment.
Was congress supposed to cut existing funds? or vote on another extension?

yep. i am current getting unemployment benefits and i was just about to  when i heard that there wasnt an extention on the benefits yet and some people will be losing their benefits this sunday at 12pm. i was worried that i would be losing it too. i have 26 weeks that i know of and after that im probably gonna have to find a job but i dont think i can find a job again that paid me as much as i was getting at my last job, which sucks. the place i worked shut down and closed the site i was at so i was "laid off". i was there 11 yrs and this is the first time i have been on unemployment and now i cant have it for very long possibly. i'm always screwed no matter what i do. everything seems to be taken from me one way or the other. its' like i can never win.

Just lost 70% of my pay because the managers want their stupid bonuses.

My brother is going through the whole process. I wish you luck and I hope you make a ton of money on fusion (well enough to pay a bill or two lol)

well my mother just called and she said she had been watching the news. she said those people who just got unemployment and have never had an extention will be entitled to at least one extention. after that who knows. ok, for those of u who have had many extentions u might be getting cut off. i know its sucks..they want u to get back to work. working sucks, yes i know..but its life. i was worried i might have to move and i want to move but i dont like the "MOVING" part if u know what i mean. we found a 2 bedroom apt yesterday that was up for rent and it is 175 dollars cheaper then this place we are at now but we would be sacrificing our garage and well have to buy a washer and dryer(which we sold ours like 2 years ago). right now im not coz my landlord supplies the washer and dryer inside each of these apts but hey if i can save 175 dollars and not have ne bills besides electricity and insurances then its a good idea to me.

been looking for a new job since sept. 2007 ABSOLUTELY no one wanting to hire me! wish I was able to figure out why? other than the economy being in pee poor shape!

   I'm sorry you guys can't find a job. I'm lucky, I'm disabled, and have social security to live on. I don't pay rent, and I grow a lot of my own food. I have to thank God, for that. I always thought I was bad off, untill just this past couple of years.. I see I am very lucky.

My UI was recently cut off. This sucks I haven't had to look for a job in almost 20 years and the ones I'm about to j=have to settle for are only going to pay about half of what I was making before. Rough times.
