Kick To The Head
« on: February 11, 2010, 01:42:28 am »
My son was sparring at Karate and kicked a kid in the head . It's kind of funny, the other boy was fine.

I think it's a bad idea to encourage your kid to do stuff like that. Next time he might actually hurt someone. He'll end up in juvenile court, and you'll get dragged into civil court.

Um..this is Karate, they train them to do "stuff like that". His teacher was impressed and was the one who told him which kick to use when your opponent has their leg up. You can't learn to fight without fighting.

Thanks, 9 times out of 10 the other boy would have been kicking him in the head...lol. He's way more advanced. Nate just slipped one through.

Owned! I've always wanted to get into karate.

Google is your friend. You can find me there. Can I find you there?

While I agree with you, we have a culture of BS lawsuits, and yes, some kids have ended up sued and even on probation for something that happened in wresting, karate, even football.

I'm sure that has happened , as ridiculous as it is. I guess I would be taking a chance putting him in any sport if I was worried about a BS lawsuit. I just wonder if I had posted a video of him tackling a guy in football I would have received a response telling me not to encourage him.

I was much more impressed with your demonstrating how to use a public interest video to promote Fusioncash, or didn't anyone else notice?
