I think that having power and or money is nothing if you don't have respect.  You could have all the money or suspose it power in the world but if people look at you with distain in there eyes then where are you.  Sitting there with your money and power with no one.  Give me respect anyday over that.  If you got a good name then your good to go.

Self respect is the best thing you can have. It allows you to have power over yourself which will often lead to opportunities for the respect of others which can lead to more power and money.  And to not worry so much about power and money.

Money is POWER. IF you have enough money, you can make people act like they respect you. Also, it has already been proven that here in the USA, IF you have enough money then you can BUY all the justice you need and essentially get by with any crime. Remember O.J. and Nicole Simpson.
