Was told the filming/directing is a bit amateurish, and not purely academic, as it's a bit more personal to the guy, but that keeps it more in "layman's terms". Or something.

thats exactly what he is doing. yesterday i noticed that he had a post on every topic on the board so i kindly sent him a message telling him that most of his posts weren't going to count towards his 30, especially the ones that were just one word or an emoticon. i guess he thought they would count if he created some pointless threads and posted on it. don't want to be that guy when they deny his forum bonus request form.

It's a pretty good one, and it triggered a contest on Youtube a few years ago. They were rewarding people who would say "I deny the existence of the holy spirit" out loud, by giving them a copy of the DVD.
