i like watching both sports and playing but if i would have to choose, it would be football.  i grew up playing football and love the sport.

Football by far. The game is always exciting; even blow-out games can have some really amazing plays in it. Basketball just seems like they go back and forth. Nothing really exciting until the last couple of minutes of the game. And the exciting plays are slam-dunks or 3-point shots -- things that are a piece of cake to most professional players. Thats nothing compared to Favre pulling the win out of his in the last seconds of the game, like when the Vikes played San Fran earlier this year.
