yes, but it is nothing new - they do it with all of the famous people - i could list 100 people that have gone through the same publicity in the past..........Remember President Clinton? Kobe Bryant? Ted Kennedy? We could start a new thread just on names. LOL

I agree -- they do this with lots of people .... when your name is known it makes for good news (or at least news that sells)

I think both the media and Tiger himself made the issue a circus.  Obviously, Tiger put himself
in the situation that brought on the negative publicity, but of course, the media always makes a bigger deal if it's a celebrity or could increase viewings.  As always though, headlines move on (think about MJ this summer, etc...).  I just wish media would sometimes take more positive viewpoints/stories-it's no wonder that there's so much negativity in the world-I bet if news was more positive, the world would be more positive-people are influenced by their environments, right?

I think he made a circus out of his own life. onces your a public person your life is a free for all and if you dont want people knowing your business then dont do it. Just like President Clinton and all the men coming out the closet that are in the senate. Guess what if you dont want us to know then dont do it in public! I believe nobody deserves to judge him its his life but guess what you let us judge you the day you step into that spot light and allowed us into your life and letting everyone believe that your so above the rest with being a family man. So sorry for you!

Most of the time the media searches for dirt on people which is not right..although i do agree with most of you.

My main gripe is with the amount of time the media devotes to such issues. 25,000 children starve to death every single day.

The media are scum.  It  doesn't pay to be a celebrity because the media will lie and distort an incident to get their story out there.  You have to wonder how many secrets the media would like aired regarding their private lives.  The man is human- he was wrong for  cheating on his wife, but that is no one else's business but theirs.

I think the media should just let it go. This should be between him and his wife. How can you even attempt to make a decision whether to stay or go when the media won't let it go so everywhere you go people are pointing and talking.
