Credit for referral

I see on my account page that someone I referred has joined (my first one!), but does that not necessarily mean that they've confirmed their email address? Because I haven't been credited yet.

I think this is possible. I know that them confirming their email address and completing their first offer are separate bonuses. However, out of all of my referrals, I don't think any ever signed up without confirming their email or completing an offer.

If you know who they are, just kindly ask them to continue on in the process :-)

That's the issue, I have no clue who this person is, I'm sure they got the link through my blog so it could have been anybody.

also they must be from a supported country.

i have had about 1/2 my refs from other than CA, UK, or USA

Maybe you just need to wait for a while. It may take a few days to give you credit.

i think they have to confirm their account, phone number and update profile info to include DOB before you get the referral money.
It may be good to explain the process on your blog as a way to help them get started.... this is all the things they need to do to get their $5 sign up bonus.
