Meeting On-line could you find real Love?

Meeting people online is no different than meeting them at church or in a supermarket. Love is a chance  that we all should take

Uh, sorry but I'll have to disagree.  People you meet at church, are in church for a reason.  Many happy marriages started in church between 2 people.  Church is a good place to gauge someone's character and spirituality.  Supermarkets are a great place where people congregate, coffee houses, etc.  At least you can see the person, talk to them in person, etc.  We do not marry outside our Christian Faith as it tends to problems to be unequally yoked with someone who is not a Christian and you are.  This forum ought to be a good example of that.

Online, a person can be posing to be anything.  While you can meet someone online, you eventually have to meet them in real life anyway, and can you be very disappointed to find out they lied to you online.  How could you trust them then?  However, you have invested some time and emotions already online before meeting them.  Better to get to know each other in person.  I've heard too many horror stories of online dating.

There are some people here that have met their spouses online and it worked out.......That's okay for them.  However, throwing the dice like that is real chancy.

 :heart:It worked for my brother, been married over 10 years.  I think both of them where very lucky, as far as one of them not being a nut case.  I suppose it's just as safe as meeting someone in a bar or something like that.
