Although I have heard of several couples that met each other online, but I have also heard of several stories that have led to disaster. I dont think people tell the truth most of the time when meeting other people online. When not telling the truth it ends up with a relationship that wont last because it is based on Fake Facts. Not to mention how unsafe it can be. Just be careful what you say and what you do

I think its possible, but you definitely have to be very careful.  I have met many people online and have found that they are mostly con artists or think you are stupid and desperate and will go along with them asking you to do something really stupid like sending them money.  One day they will realize that all people are not that stupid and vunerable.

I think almost anything is possible. A friend met a guy online about a year or so ago, and now she's engaged.

Over the years I've thought good and bad things of Online dating... I think its much better than the Dating Reality shows like "The Bachelor"....I think dating online or offline is what you make it. You're going to meet a lot of losers...but every once in a while you'll stumble across a great one that makes up for all the rest. Remember....You have to kiss ALOT of frogs to meet the Prince

Personally I don't by into the whole "match up on 29 dimensions" thing.  I actually think this is just a marketing ploy to bate people into paying for a membership to these on-line dating sites.  My best relationships were always based on two people making it work.  Not compatibility or similar interests.  I'll end with the quote "The best things in life are free..."
