In my opinion we went through this same thing right after 9/11. They said all the agencies were going to work together, they even created another agency to handle this, that the FBI and CIA could share information.
Well according to the almost bombing, the alledged terrorist was on the the watch list, but not the no fly list, his father even warned them that something was up with him, they did not share the information again, or this could of been prevented, I tell you what, they stopped it this time, because of an error on the suspects part, but what about next time, when they figure out what they did wrong, are we going to get it together or what?

Good question i was just waiting for this.

I feel Lynn that the U.S. should do the
following.

1. Do full body scans or x rays( in FL we do that )
2. Inspect packages with x rays.
3. Have uncover agents on all flights no excuses!
4. FBI & CIA should do much better and do away
with the  "no fly list" My point is the watch list is
the one they should be using because the no fly list
isn't helping anyway.
5. Be extremely cautious with "middle eastern men" Now
i know this sounds kinda racist but if we look at the men
who have bombed planes it has been them and I am in
for Strick profiling, even before boarding an airplane.

Does anyone else feel the same I do or am i wrong
because i am positive this is what the U.S. should
do.

I agree, and this is the only way we will prevent these things from happening.

I think the recent terror threat like most is blown out of proportion and many so called "links" are not links at all and will be admitted to if they haven't been already. Unrelated but funny, I saw an article on CNN which stated "Obama's changes to the security have been a complete success, this recent failure shows a failure in our system" to paraphrase... successful at failing? xD

there have been more terrorist attacks in the US from non muslim... timothy McVeigh, the unibomber, lee malvo, etc.
