Has anyone seen the new Sherlock Holmes movie?

It is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.  It is full of adventure and comedy as well.  My husband and I have a date night every week and about once or twice a month it includes a movie.  However lately there really hasn't been much to see.  I want to see Avatar but he really doesn't want to so I may have to wait until it is released on DVD.

We too try to have a date night every week.  Sometimes we go out to the movies; sometimes we just go rent one.  Most important is that we just have an evening together.

Naw, I haven't seen Sherlock Holmes yet. I don't think I'm interested in seeing that movie in particular.

I haven't yet.  Any movie Robert Downey Jr makes  it alway become hit at the box office.

Holmes was a very good movie, although I could have done without the extreme amounts of black magic.  You can make a good Holmes movie without that stuff.

Avatar was fantastic.  I am not at all into fantasy/animation so I was really doubtful about this, but seeing Avatar in 3D in the theater was one of the best movie experiences of my life.  Absolutely stunning movie.  Go see it in 3D!

I saw Sherlock holmes over the weekend. I loved it and thought Robert Downey was great and brought believable quirkiness to the role. lots of action!

I want to see it. But we never go out!   Nigel Bruce and Basil Rathbone are the best!!!!!!  Hard to compete with them

I'm not sure if I want to see it. I'd like to think of Sherlock as a mature and refined piece of art, and I'm deadly afraid that this rendition of it will not fit my expectations.

If my kids can get to their grandparent's house tomorrow, that is what I want to go see with my husband. We try to have a date night, but it doesn't happen very often. Usually about every month or two.

I think the movie was good for what it was, by no means was it amazing, but it was pretty good. Apparently, Robert Downey Jr. plays the same role in this as he does in the Iron Man movies, which I still need to see.

And Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes is too totally different movies! If you meant same role as in lead actor then yeah I guess that would be the same.
