How was your first day back to work/school went for 2010?

For me it was a busy day after the holidays. However I notice some people are still in vacation mode. This morning while tuning into rush hour morning traffic, someone ran out of gas while driving on the fast lane. I thought that was funny.

Summary: One of those mondays..

well i don't work (husband does) or go to school (son does) but i am in charge of getting them ready and off to work/school, so this morning i woke up at 6:15, made my son breakfast, we both got ready and then i walked him to his bus stop at his regular time. after about 10 minutes of no one else showing up, i asked my son if he was sure that he went back to school today. he said he was so we waited another 5 minutes. still no other kids and no bus, i opened up my son's backpack and looked at his school lunch menu... that said he goes back to school next monday!!! in his defense, i too had thought he went back today because the events calendar in december had said "have a great 2 week vacation!" meaning school would have started today. so my osn and i walked back home, changed back into jammies and cuddled on the couch with my daughter and my husband (who definitely goes back to work tomorrow!!!) 

and that's how my first day "back to school" went!

Tiring It was a pain not to mention i came home to sick hubby and kids
