Speaking of STRANGE MAIL..... I just got a check in the mail for $4,250 ;D, from a company that I've never heard of, the logo on the check doesn't match the logo on the letterhead (one is a helicopter company in Tennissee(sp?) and one is a 'mystery shopper' company out of Canada)   I almost took the check to the bank, until I noticed that.  Then I was really bummed ???

All of those Paypal notices I just send to      spoof@paypal.com    , let them take care of it, and they will.

I get those checks in the mail too.  I just shread them because they're scams.  I also get REALLY annoying mailings from people who want me to join some pyramid-like scheme that says "as seen on Oprah and 20/20"  I get like 3 of those things a week!  I wish I knew what list I got on, so that I could figure out how to get myself off the list!

Beware of those big checks that you get unexpectedly.  If you cash them, the sender gets your account info when they get the check back.   Then, when the check bounces...you not only get stuck with fees, the sender has your info.

I got one of those checks in the mail and I was sooooooo excited because it said it was a check from entering in readers digest sweepstake or pch or internet gaming.  I knew that I had entered a readers digest so I thought it was legit until I called the bank that was on the check and they told me it was a fraud.  Good thing I didnt take it to the bank and deposited it.  I would have been  :crybaby2: later to find they had all my banking info.

I just got the letter in the mail from some attorney "as seen on Oprah"
What a bunch of bolony!  Just send so many people $1 and then you'll
receive over $800,000!
Yeah right
