I think he truly cares about his country and does not understand why people want to change the values that it was founded on.  I think he would also agree that everyone has the right to disagree with him.  I also think a lot of people are afraid of him because he has the ability to inspire people and talk about things that other media refuse to print.

I legitimately, with all my being, believe he needs medication or some method of therapy.

I respect his passion for the fact that it's passion, but he portrays it and directs it in such horrible, horrible ways that it really leads me to believe he's unhealthy.


As for what was said above about being afraid of him...

I'm personally not afraid of him.  A decent percentage of his audience only tunes in to see what nutty stuff he's going to make up on that episode.  I am a bit concerned about the remaining percentage, given there are a lot of very unintelligent people in the American public who don't understand the concept of scrutinizing what people say or doing extra individual research on a subject/claim.  And when you have a man on a well-established "news" network "informing" people about how Obama doesn't like white people and supports eugenics...uh it makes me concerned about the people watching his show and taking his word.

Glenn himself said that his show is a mixture of news and "entertainment".  I would rather spend my time watching actual news shows that just deliver the news.  There is too much of a blend between news and entertainment within this show and some others.   Many people do not recognize the difference between the two.  What is dangerous and rather silly here is that so many people mistake comments/opinions or "entertainment" that they hear from individuals on tv for actual facts.   I know of several people who watch this show and just end up upsetting themselves over nonsense in some cases.

actually, america is in an unhealthy state and the whole world has gone stupid and mad - if you think glenn needs help it is more than likely that the whole country needs help - news really isn't news it is history by the time you see or hear it - so unless you can change the news yourself there is no reason to get up set - everyone dies even liberals

I guess that there is always some degree of bias or slant with any reporting or delivery of news, but I was comparing Glen's show with other news programs such as the evening CBS/NBC/ABC evening news. (just one example) I would not think of watching Glenn Beck to be informed of the days happenings.  How do you feel about Glenn Beck?

We've gone through numerous grave struggles in our short history.  We've been unhealthy before and managed to do just fine in the end.  The nation will manage.  Beck does need help -- a past alcoholic and drug addict who behaves the way he does -- to say he's fully healthy is a stretch.  There are numerous Youtube videos of him blowing up out of no where in fits of rage at guests and/or callers on his show.  And it's not that kind of blowing up that O'Reilly does; it's the kind of blowing up that a mentally ill person would exhibit.

The world has been in much, much worse struggles than the one we're currently in.  Stupid and mad?  I don't know if I would call it that.  I would call it...uh the general cycle of mankind.

Beck doesn't report the news.  He makes things up and twists every fact possible to back up his wacky conspiracy theories about how Obama is Karl Marx's long lost grandson who is here to kill old people and practice *bleep* eugenics on white people.  I don't think anybody is really that upset.  Again, I'd say a decent percentage of his audience tunes in to get a laugh at how ridiculous he is.

I am neutral to Beck, as I've never actually seen his show, or read one of his books.

The diagrams are precisely what I'm talking about.  They're conspiracies and exaggerations, plain and simple.  Always.  When you ramble on about the health care proposals being about eugenics, you're a nut.  Like or dislike the proposals, they have absolutely nothing to do with eugenics.  When you spend every show ranting about how Obama has all these evil czars and you don't pay any attention to past Presidential administrations (most, if not all, of which had czars since FDR), you're someone who is exaggerating and/or dumb.  When you say you hate the families of 9/11 victims and want them to "shut up," you're a genuine idiot.  When somebody calls into your radio show, shows disagreement with what you're saying, and you go into a fit of rage screaming at them to "get off the phone," you have mental issues.  When you're on one news network (CNN) ranting about how the US health care system is the worst in the world, then you get switched to another news network (Fox) and start ranting about how it's the best in the world, you're a hypocritical puppet.  The list goes on and on...

It is pretty funny how he tries to explain it and shed the consequences of what he's saying..."I'm not saying he doesn't like white people, I just think he's a racist."  -.- Seriously?  The child of an interracial relationship who was raised by white grandparents and has never shown a disregard for white people that I'm aware of doesn't like white people haha

You see it's statements like this that make Glenn Beck sound so utterly ridiculous.  It makes him sound uneducated and just plain full of nonsense.  Weather I am a pleased with Obama or not, it just makes my eyes glaze over when I hear talk like this.  Glenn Beck may have some credibility, but he loses me with statements like this.
