We all must take advantage of all of sales in the mall and other stores.  In some cases there is a 50 percent mark down.

Some people may shy away from after Christmas Day sales because they've spent all their money on Christmas.  However, I've found that some of the best bargains can be found these days.  When my children were younger, part of their gift would be cash and I would take them out the day after Christmas to take advantage of the clothes sales.  They got a lot more for their money than I would have if I'd bought it before Christmas.  Also, this year -- especially, the word is that car dealerships are really willing to deal and clear out their end-of-year inventory so this might be the time to get that car you've been needing.

The week after is the best time to shop for Christmas next year!!!!  The sales get better with each passing day!  I always take advantage of these sales

Did anyone else notice something "funny" this year with the after Christmas shopping?   I happened to have the old sales papers laying around from the week before Christmas from some stores and they are all about what they have to offer for Christmas.  The sales papers from the exact same stores AFTER Christmas are advertising their "SPECIAL AFTER CHRISTMAS" sale-clearance-discounts on items.  ***The prices the stores had on exact same items before Christmas at "regular" price are priced LOWER than the "GREAT" AFTER- CHRISTMAS SALES PRICE.  What is up with that?

Just got back from Walmart and they had some pretty good sales. I think it depends on how much merchandise is left at the store from Christmas as to what the sales are like. I got wrapping stuff -good stuff-, candy, cookie dough, and cologne. I will use some things myself and the wrapping and other gifts will wait until next year. Can't beat 50% off all holiday items.  The cool thing is getting everyday items that are packaged for Christmas. Still what you already use but half off because of the packaging.

With three kids to buy for, who has money to go shopping the day after Christmas?  I certainly dont.  i guess if there is anything left when we get paychecks, i might buy some stuff for next year.  there's only 364 days till christmas..

Shopping is the part I like the least about the holidays.  I agree with several previous posters though, the after Christmas sales are usually good. 

I love getting together as family and laughing and playing and reminiscing.

If all you are going to do is visit and BS go do it some where out of tha damn way!!!

I stay as far away from the stores on the day after Christmas as I can! I know they have good deals but to me, it's not worth it. I love shopping, but I wait a few days before going out.

Ah man I totally forgot about this! T_T Well, the day after Christmas all I did was spend it with my boyfriend at home and then later that night we went to his mom's. Dang now I wish I would have went shopping!
