is it safe?
« on: December 21, 2009, 09:42:32 pm »
is it safe to  give out your account info for direct deposit? How many of you use that feature? how you encountered any problems with it?
I'm a little paranoid about giving my bank info just like that, but on the other hand it would be much easier then the other options.

Many people use this site and use Direct Deposit. I can't comment on how well it works or if there are any issues because I use PayPal but since this website does have a lot of users who cash out all the time, I believe it is safe to say that this website can be trusted. :) Hopefully someone who uses direct deposit will answer your question more specifically.

I've only had one payout (check), and I'll be switching to PayPal soon enough.  FC is accredited by the BBB, so I think it's safe. So far I haven't heard anything bad about FusionCash and I think you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

     I use paypal, and it's safe. I only had trouble one time, when I got  a [PHISHING] Email, saying it was from paypal, and needed my info .. I fell for it, and someone from europe tried to take a lot of money from my bank account, but paypal, and my bank thought it was supisous, and didn't send it to them. So NEVER give paypal info to anyone who asks by  email!!!!! Other than that, paypal is safe.. Just do all your business on their site.. never if someone emails you!!!

A lot of phishing scams target Paypal.  As long as you are aware of the phishing emails, paypal is a safe method of transferring money.

The site's been around for four years(or maybe a little more, not sure).
No one has alleged the site engages in identity theft.
While a few people complain it's a scam, because they don't understand how to fill out offers and complain nothing credits. No one has stated a problem with their bank.
Nothing can be done with your bank account number anyway.

I'm very skeptical about giving out my account info not just to this site but everyone in general, that's why I opted for the check payment...I'm not too sure how PayPal works.

A good method to test a website's trustworthiness is to do a google search for that site. What are the top ten results? What do the reviews say? How long has the company been around for? FC has all of these things going for it, so it shouldn't be a problem. I set up direct deposit trusting FC wholeheartedly. Do they sell my information? Possibly, but I haven't noticed yet. My bank account is safe, and they cannot withdraw money without my permission, so all is well.

Yeah - if we don't have your permission, we can't debit your account.  If we did, we would very quickly lose our Direct Deposit merchant account, meaning no more direct deposit payments at all.  That isn't something we would like to have happen.  The real threat for online identity theft is the proprietors of phishing & hacking scams.

I have never had a problem with this site and the direct deposit.  I am glad that I use it so I can get my money faster.
