Do you like Christmas time or not?

Personally, i like when the family gets together from across the country and i also like all of the decorations people put up. But what i dont like is the ads on tv that have been playing since July. Give your opinion on what you think about Christmas.

Christmas is the time of year when everyone is excited for presents and getting together. Well, that's still true for the getting together part when you're 30. The present part of the event is not so cool when you're the only one buying. Last year I dropped quite a bit of $$$ to make my love ones happy. This year i'm broke as a joke. I don't know what to get everyone so I decided on hoodies and pajamas for them all.

The most embarassing Christmas moment for me was one year when I bought my oldest niece clothes. She opened it and then started crying. We were recording the event and it sure was interesting to watch each year. I wonder if will happen again this year.

I love seeing my family around this time of the year.

I love christmas!! My whole family get together eat and have a good time!!! I just recently move to a different state..so i havent seen them in awhile!!! Cant wait to see them!!

No and yes.  No because I lose all my money.  Yes because it is technically and excuse to spend money on myself without the guilt.

I absolutely love it. Everyone is happy, and getting and giving gifts is so fun!  Christmas morning is just so happy and peaceful.

I get excited about the christmas specials and what Christmas is supposed to represent, but when it comes to all the material into it, no. I do not think we should all have to put ourselves in a position to go broke, the retailers, or rather the companies are the ones who get the real christmas presents, our wallets.

I like it, I'm just annoyed that I have to spend so much money. Every year I try to convince my husband to just skip it. It's hard having to buy gifts for his family. They're so many of them! Someone remind me when I get married again to marry into a small family. lol jk.

we keep things "real" during the season -- and we love spending time with our family and seeing the kids faces light up with the ribbons and bows (they never care what is inside the boxes they are too little for that yet).

It's not about presents or gifts for us -- but a time of family/reflection and making memories (we are christian but for the sake of FC friends I won't go into that meaning for us!)
