My favorite serious christmas movie would have to be A Christmas Carol, the one with Patrick Stewart in it.. and my favorite funny one is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

  Get Jean Shepard's free radio downloads, on ZOOT.. HE WROTE 'A CHRISTMAS STORY".. I've read all his books and he is one of my fave. writers. He tells the story of his family going to the state fair, and his little brother throws up all over their dad on the farris wheel...hahahhahahahahahahah

My brother, sister and I LUV the Chevy Chase Vacation movies at Christmas time, watching them has sort of become a yearly tradition....wish he would of made more of them!!

we are the same way , a tradition to watch that movie every christmas.. and my family also likes elf..

I can't think of the name of it, but the one that has Ralphie and his brother in it ... where the boy wants a bb gun and everyone tells him that he's going to shoot his eye out and then he almost does.

Also, the Chevy Chase one and the Grinch are good as well.

A Christmas Story is the funniest and most relatable. I also like White Christmas.

We always watched any of the National Lampoon Chevy Chase movies whether they had to do with Christmas or not but the absolute favorite that I carry on with my children is  A Christmas Story.  Every year my kids even eat like pigs on their plates because they know they can get away with it and I have a leg replica lamp in my basement from some movie giveaway or another that my father in law entered.

I have always enjoyed the Christmas story when I was younger--it would play all night. Now one I really like is It's a Wonderful Life.
