Where/how to search for jobs?!?! (I'm in Florida, if that helps)

I just lost my job on Thursday and my husbands been unemployed for a year. I have a 3 weeks severence pay, so I see myself as having 3 weeks to get a job. Any recommendations on how or where to look? I have looked for and applied for all of the jobs in my area that I qualify for on Monster.com and careerbuilder.com. Has anybody had any success any where else?

I'm so sorry to hear your news.  I think you are on the right track with the online job boards.  Also, go to every company website in your area that you might be interested in - most have their own job listings on their website.  This gets you past the recruiter and right to the company. 

Every state usually has a job board associated with their unemployment or security employment offices/website.  This is a good place to find local jobs.  For the most part, employers on these boards want to hire quickly.

Another idea, check out the State of Florida website.  There are state agencies in other towns beside the capitol city (if you don't live in the Tallahassee). These listings will be on the main state government website.
