okay so my best friend is currently engaged

but wait heres the thing hes 19 and the girl hes married to is 17

and only known each other

i mean completely known each other for 4 months

and 2 weeks ago went out as boyfriend and girlfriend and 4 days later are engaged

both claiming to be in love

and my best friends saying hes in love and shes amazing and they have everything in common

which of course nowadays im not to sure if it will last

so i want another opinion do u think it will last?

if it does then im super happy for my best friend

if not then how long do u think it will last?

Who is to say what it takes to have real love in this day and age.  I hope they make it and together find happiness with life.

Whose to say what is true love in such a short span of time.   It could be they are soul mates at such a young age.  Only they will know if it will work out.  Hopefully they have open communication, trust and respect for each  other and know how to deal with all the stresses and realities that life will throw their way.  Good luck to them.
