Old Quarterback
« on: November 29, 2009, 11:09:02 am »
I am a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, but growing up in Wisconsin the cheese heads were all over the place !  Brett Favre was well loved by the green bay fans and his name was very well known..... now he is in MINNESOTA and I gotta say he still has a pretty good arm.

Any thoughts about the old quarterback and still has game?

The giants are doing terrible this year, a real roller coaster scenario, so ive caught a few other games and honetly the vikings playing well aside from q.b, but dont get me wrong i think favre is doing well with the team

He is currently the oldest active QB and has the best rating. Also, he was retired and said he would this season, but the Vikings kept insisting he return.

Favre is great but I think it is time for him to reap the rewards of his work.  I also really liked Chris Chandler that use to play for the Atlanta Falcons..........and Michael Vick, even though he made a mistake he was a great QB and still is.

I'm a Bears Fan...please don't attack me, I know they stink...I'm also a Colts fan, love Manning...But the cheeseheads and the Bears fans never got along so well...Ha! I think Favre should have stayed retired, he's good, great arm, but come on, on how many times will he stir up the media with his " I'm going to retire " and then play again? He just loves the attention...I'm sorry to offend anyone.

I think he's fun to watch and has a great chemistry with the his team. Sort of old school and still has the skills and smarts to do a good job. I hope he plays a couple more years in Minnesota.

i personally don't think he'll stay with MN for "a few more years" --- i think he just wants to see if he can get a ring

I am always amazed at Favre...How in the world he only has 3 ints in 11 games is so strange, his average interceptions per year since he began is 17!  Go Favre!  But first GO SAINTS!!! ;D

He took care of that last night with 3 in one game. Even the best tank once in a while.
