So can World of Warcraft.  So can being a member of a music band.  So can watching pornography.  So can smoking. So can drinking alcohol.  The list could go on forever.  Just about anything done beyond the point of moderation has potential to ruin someone's life.  Are we going to outlaw all these things and so many more?  No, because many of these are personal choices derived from having personal freedoms and they remain personal choices until they interfere with the lives of other citizens.

You are so right liljp617, nail on the head.  Government loves to tell us whats good and bad to protect ourselves from ourselves, of course unless lobbyist and big business throws enough money to lawmakers.  One more thing:  I love how some people stereotype occasional pot smokers as losers and lazy and so on, but everyone that drinks is not an alcoholic obviously...Money makes laws and lawmakers love money.

It's already legal in 13 states, cant wait till it ligal in all 50 states, but i really hope that Fl will be the next state to legalize it, plus Marijuanna is not harmfull, i dunno what si the big deal, and i also think ligelize marijuanna will decrease drug Violence

i'm all for the legalization of marijuana!!! hello, cigarettes are legal and they kill people, even people that aren't even smoking them. why not legalize marijuana?

Well I'm from Louisiana...I think we will be the last state in the union to legalize medical marijuana and any other form.  The congress has never even brought up the issue.  Ugh.  So we can be last in that category too....LOL

For those of you AGAINST marijuana, you should really watch the documentary that was done this year, I will ask my husband when he gets home from work what the name of it is but it will open the eyes of the blind to show you how corrupt our system is. And in fact why it is not legal. Movie actually pissed me off on so many levels on why and how the goverment is getting away with what they are doing.

 lol Louisiana got some good weed , one fo the best weed i've smoke is from New Orleans, My band had to performe over there 3 years ago, I Love New Orleans
