 The principal of a Christian school and a teacher face charges after they beat an 11-year-old student with a fiberglass rod so hard it broke the child's skin, police said.

Wilkins Township police said Stephen Lazzaro, principal of Faith Christian School, and teacher Stephanie Galda administered the punishment because the unidentified fifth-grader submitted an inadequate homework assignment.

Unfortunately that is the very attitude most people have concerning this issue, as long as it isn't their Sister or their Son or Daughter.

"Oh, that's terrible....how's the weather?"

This attitude enables these kinds of atrocities to continue.

Until people put aside all the excuses for enabling this, such as, oh that wasn't around here or they are just "claiming" to be christian or my favorite....oh well they're just Indians anyway.....nothing will change.

These are not people merely claiming to be christian......these are clergymen up to and including the Pope himself.

christianity is what it is, not what you wish it were or what you claim it to be.

Most people are not evil like this themselves but by supporting the christian religion which has ALWAYS acted in this manner, they are in fact enabling the behavior.

Enablers are complicit in the genocide of untold millions of people throughout the history of "The Church".
