I actually am starting to believe that we are slowly recovering. My boyfriend has been out of work for almost a year now and finally people are starting to call him back for interviews. It's amazing!

I am not sure if it is getting worse or better, but the gasoline prices got higher again, after getting lower to just $1.99 per gallon on AMPM and now it is $2.27 per gallon on Circle K. I haven't check the updated one for the AMPM one, but I will probably check it tomorrow.

I still feel like it's on shaky ground.  I have a job thank goodness but I don't feel it's secure.

Numerous indicators are signaling economic growth, albeit slow growth.  By definition, we're out of the recession.  That doesn't mean everything is going to be great in a month..it will likely be quite some time before we see real growth and significant decreases in unemployment.

There appears to be a slight recovery, but things are still bad.  Especially with the "too-big-to-fail" banks getting even bigger  :bs:

what next to bail out? everything is getting bailed out because only the governemnt has the power to do anything. Shouldn't we have the power as citizens.

Until people get back to work the economy will stay sucky. The working class is what drives the economy.

This chirstmas I am not worrying about the economy. Th tribe is still giving out its tribal loans and they arent cutting the per cap for next year. But the casino isnt bringing in as muc money as they used to either so unless the economy can pick up pretty soon. I might have to find ways to cut our budget because we wouldnt be getting as much. I really hope it never comes to the point where the per cap has to be cut.

I have b een hearing that they are going though with the water park that they are going to buildby the casino so hopefully that will help bring in more profits. I love our casino and would hate to see it go down. they even have a daycare for the little ones.
