Walmart prescription
« on: May 02, 2023, 04:29:50 am »
My daughter needed her prescription from what used to be a local pharmacy here in town. They recently merged with cvs and the price without insurance was almost $50.00 . I told them to transfer it to walgreens since I get points from them. Low and behold they were over $50.00. The lady at the pharmacy told me that walmart was only $15.00 and I got it. The pharmacy gave me a list of all prescriptions ranging from $4.00- $20.00 If you do not have medical insurance you should look into this for meds you may need. You can save a bundle

I completely agree that some discounts are not always advertised and asking about them is always a good idea. It's interesting how people can get offended by offers of discounts, but I think it's always worth it to ask, especially when it comes to saving money on prescription medication.

On that note, have you heard about the best prescription discount card available? It's a great way to save money on medication costs; you don't even have to ask for it! Just present the card at the pharmacy, and you can receive discounts on your prescriptions. It's definitely worth looking into if you want to save money on your medications.

This is nice to know.  Now even if you have insurance sometimes medications are too much money, especially if you are on Medicare.

You are right.  Walmart is the best place to purchase medications.  The others such as CVS, walgreens are so costly.
