Do You have any Long term/Short term goals that you want to accomplish, or have already achieve? How long did it take for you to reach those goals.

I've been around a while and know that you have alot more short term goals than long term.  It is easy to get caught up in the short term ones though.  It seems that when I get close to accomplishing a long term goal (paying off a long term debt, completing an education or job) I am already off on a new idea or goal.  The best thing about a long term goal is that it gives you a direction when your short term goals are completed or don't work out as you had planned. Sometimes, things just aren't in your control and that can cause you to have to change directions.

I truly hope I accomplish my life goals, its not going too well so far.  I have spent 6.5 extra years in school to get my Bachelors and MBA, plus about $80,000 in student loans, and I am only making $13 - which in this economy is nothing to complain about I guess, but the loan pay-off calculator told me I would have to make $85,000 to pay off my student loans (HAHA!!! yeah right, no where near that!)  So I would like to at least make that so I can pay off those loans, plus I would like a career with more responsibility that is closer what I went to school for - not retail management.
Maybe have a kid too, we'll see.

My goals in life are simple, to be happy...free of debt, drama and the other noise of life.  To be heard-getting published perhaps making lots of money in between.
