There was a boy I went to school with  he used to bully me in school he misunderstood me when were kids . He always wanted to be a preacher and I would hear him practice was attentive of the knowledge he had at such a young age. He thought I had a crush on him. last year he sent me a fb request. I chose to accept it. He sent me a message apologizing for how he treated me and saw that like him I went to bible college and go into the ministry. He has been one of my biggest encouragers and supporters . I would have missed out on one of the most encouraging people and he was one of the first to celebrate when I told him my husband and I are expecting a baby.  had I chose to decline I would have had missed out. There are positive side to stories of this kind too.

What a wonderful story. I had 3 high school classmates come to my son's funeral. I was made fun of in high school and these people weren't my friends at all. I really had little contact with them in 30 years.  I realized that it was a long time ago and they are just regular people now. High school can awful. I appreciated how they cared.

I knew a bully that turned his life around.We are told to forgive.I know sometimes thats easier said then done.

Sometimes out of sight out of mind might be the way to go too if we are still put to the test as well.Just remember an answer when mild turns away rage.
