The U.S. Border Patrol reported nearly 200,000 encounters with migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border in July, the highest monthly total in more than two decades.

The number of monthly encounters had fallen to 16,182 in April 2020, shortly after the coronavirus outbreak forced the closure of the southwestern border and slowed migration across much of the world. But migrant encounters have climbed sharply since then, reaching 199,777 in July, according to the latest data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the federal agency that encompasses the Border Patrol.

The July figure is the highest monthly total since March 2000 and far surpasses the peak during the last major wave of migration at the U.S.-Mexico border, which occurred in May 2019." . . . article from the Pew Research Center.

It is the epitome of the Democrat Double Standard. It will be locked into place until we vote another Republican into the White House. Spread the word!!! It starts a year from now when the R's retake both houses on Capitol Hill and actual purpose returns to some degree to our federal government.

At least Jen finally gave a truthful answer to a question asked by a reporter.  Too bad she lies to the reporters every day... if she answers questions at all. I'd like to know when Biden and Harris are going to start acting presidential. They seem to think their life is nothing but a permanent vacation to do whatever they want and go wherever they want. We have become a laughing stock to our enemies and a liability to our former allies. I can only hope we survive until 2022/2024. Biden could be impeached for the fiasco at the border among other offenses but the Dems will block any action like that.
