Our Lords prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Thank you for the reminder. I am blessed to have gotten a job working for Catholic Charities and I was inspired by an email I received from a church secretary a few weeks into the new job where she asked me how she could pray for me. After seeing that, I added a tagline to the top of my automatic email signature in a different and larger font style:

"Please let me know how I can pray for you today."

It hasn't generated a ton of responses, but every now and then, I am replied with a prayer request from someone. Prayers are powerful and any amount of prayer can help. Prayers are not bound by time. I can pray today for an intention for something that had already happened and that prayer can be applied retroactively. Not all prayers are answered in the way that we think is best. But all prayers are answered.

God can answer prayers in one of three ways:

1) Yes.

2) Not now.

3) I have a better option.

So cateyes1, (or anyone else for that matter) is there anything I can pray for you today?

The model prayer that Jesus taught his followers...BUT.......

Lets break it down......Hallowed or holy be thy name.Jesus said "I have made your name known the only TRUE God and the one U sent forth in Jesus."

So God HAS a name.Lord and God are just titles.Even Satan is referred to as a god.KJV Psalms 83:18 gives us Gods name.Many dont acknowledge that or know it.Satan has blinded many.

Let your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.Kingdom also means government.Clearly for 6000 yrs of mans existence Gods kingdom HAS NOT been ruling the earth with all the wickedness and sorrow going on.The bible says Satan has been the ruler.With good cause cos Satan challeneged Jehovahs RIGHT to rule.With all the misery of 6000 yrs it is quite obvious that Satan and man CANT rule the earth successfully.

The bible gives clear answers to all of this.

Christendom under the rule of the devil has blinded the world to this.The devil is clearly a liar a manslayer and Jehovahs biggest enemy.

Soon God will have the worldly governments destroy Christendom which is referred to in Revelation as Babylon the Great.

The world will see Jehovahs people still spiritually active and then try to eliminate them as well.It will be like touching Gods eyeball and a righteous war called Armaghheddon will begin and ALL those on the side of the devil will be put out of existence.

A 1000 yr rein of Jesus ruling Gods kingdom from heaven will begin.Millions will be resurrected to hear the truth about the TRUE God.Satan and his angels will be put in an abyss and not allowed to misguide mankind again.He is loosed after 1000 yrs and brings down many again and then him,his angels and those against Jehovah will be gone FOREVER!!!!!

The earth will be turned into a paradise under the peaceful and righteous government of Gods kingdom.Death and war and sickness will be no more.The former things will have passed away and God will wipe every tear from their eyes to thos that love and obey him.

Jesus ransom sacrifice was done once for ALL time.The questions Satan brought up if Jehovah has the right to rule the universe has been answered forever.

Gods original purpose of man taking care of the earth and living forever on it will be done.We were not put here to die.God created the earth to be inhabited and also to accept him as the rightful universal sovereign.
