I don’t care if you vote for Trump or Biden just go out and vote!

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I actually care who people vote for.

I care too but it’s a free country so vote for the person you want to win.  I meant vote it’s your right

I agree.  But I care who people vote for.  Some countries you are forced to vote and you can be fined if you do not vote.  I think Brazil is one of them.

I have read that.  I can’t remember what countries either.  Brazil might be one, I think there were others from South America.

There was a missionary at church a couple years ago and his son has dual citizenship in the US and Brazil. And I seem to remember him saying that his son could be fined if he did not vote. That it was mandatory. I remember talking to another woman in another country online and she said the same thing. if you do not vote you are fined so since you have to be there most people go ahead and vote. I don't agree with that.  If you want to vote then do.  If you don't then by all means don't.  But shut up about how things are if you don't bother to voice your opinion by voting.

This is how things are.....

Math 4:8-10

8  Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.+ 9  And he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” 10  Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah* your God you must worship,+ and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

Just a reminder who rules this world.Jesus never disputed Satan was god over these earthly kingdoms.

I dont vote for Satan or mankind.

I voted yesterday.  The line was all the way around the building and out into the street.  People social distanced pretty well, and it only took 55 minutes.

Oddly enough, this is the first election that I am actually voting. Honestly, neither candidate is great. So I am going to go with the lesser of the two evils.

^I was talking to my friend about voting and I pretty ended saying the same thing which was paraphrased from Louie CK when he was talking about the 2016 election.
"Let me ask you something. If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?"

voting in someone that has been in for 47 years, and expecting different results is the definition of insanity

So......look past the man running and look at the Platform, the issues that the candidate endorses.   Vote for the Platform (not the man) that most closely lines up with the values and way of life you want to live under.

Some of the best and most well put advice even posted to these forums, jkhanson.

I am in agreement that everyone should vote.

But what bothers me is when people vote who don't even bother researching the issues or the candidates. If you are going to cast a ballot, then make the effort to know who and what you are voting for - instead of just picking the name that other people tell you to vote for because of who they think you are or what way your ethnicity/class/demographic should just automatically vote for. Be your own person and vote your own conscience - even if that means breaking away from tradition or stereotype.

Anyone who votes for the person or party that I oppose, but does so following the above criteria = I may disagree with your choice, but I respect your process.

If you vote but don't put any of your own thought or investigation into it; or if you fail to vote and still disparage the process and/or result = I have much less respect for you.

See, this is part of the reason I don't vote. It's all BS. You shouldn't have to choose between two evils. Do you want your right leg cut off or your left leg cut off? What difference does it make? Either way you're screwed.
