Well I order from Amazon quite frequently and other than getting desperate for something and paying too much for it I am usually ok with the service. I ordered a certain tortilla chip though and got a different one which would have been alright but the one I got was fully open. It was so stale (yea I couldn't resist trying it) that it had to have been put in the box like that knowingly. Darn who would have thought.
I have found that om amazon, there is a section for chatting with a live agent. I find it more faster and effective for contacting them and getting things taken care of that I need
If I were you, I would call amazon customer service at 888-280-4331 and complain like crazy. You were taking a chance by tasting that tortilla chips because who knows if somebody put something dangerous in the open bag. That's just terrible that happened to you.
Whenever I get anything from Amazon it is not packaged very well. Very little if any packing material. I usually do not order on Amazon but sometimes when I order on Ebay it comes in a Amazon box through Amazon Fulfillment I guess.
Ask for a refund or a credit.
