There should be a chat room on the forum! What do you all say?

i think that would be a good idea, but the 2nd poster was right, it could possibly cut into posting...i'm sure people would still post on some things though, and chat could be just that, to chat and say hey and all.

that would be nice, but there would be a tendency that the furom won't be too active as it is right now if there would be a chatroom. if that would be the case what would happen to the $3 BUNOS FOR 30 POSTS

A chat room may sound like a good idea, but as someone that used to run a couple of websites, they can really raise the cost of maintaining a website.  I'd prefer to stick with the forum.  Its cheaper for FC and allows for them to pay US instead of the other way around!

Not going to happen, there is no practical way to stop the spamming on a chat since it's real time.
