tag sales
« on: August 01, 2020, 02:31:06 pm »
Driving around town lately I have seen a few people having tag sales. I don't stop unless I see something that catches my eye. I used to buy stuff at auctions and sell them at a quarterly tag sale. Ever since moving back to the east coast I have not been to an auction since they don't have them here. Also with the covid  going on I don't think many people are having auctions even in the midwest :peace:

I have an idea if you have them in your are area try to find a where house that are selling pallets of used returns & new stuff. There seem to be here and there.  You can actually make pretty decent money for paying a fraction of hte price of the pallet of stuff and selling it online. These pallets give a brief description of what is in them say like electronics . You could get almost anything electronic most are just packed with stuff based off there catagory and a hodgepodge of stuff inside you never know what you will get. But its worth it

What's a tag sale so you mean yard sale?  We used to have yard sales a lot and used to sell at flea markets but we haven't done it in a few years.  I have a lot of stuff I want to try and have a yard sale but with covid I'm thinking maybe September I can have one.

yes. a tag sale is a yard sale as well. I lived in both the mid west and on the east coast so I heard it both ways

Now that you mention yard sales, there haven't been any around here that I have noticed -- not even estate/yard/garage sale signs in the neighborhood.  I see a lot of people selling stuff or giving it away on NextDoor though.  I've sold everything I had up on Craigslist since the Pandemic is quarantining us all... good time to sell stuff online I imagine.

We don't have auctions around here on the west coast either, during lockdowns or not :(
