Tap Research experience
« on: April 24, 2020, 08:27:12 pm »
I tried a Tap Research survey because it had a time estimate of just 2 minutes. However, it ended up taking maybe 15 minutes. To top it off, when I got to the end, I got a message saying I did not qualify and to try again later.

I've experienced that too.

I wonder where they get the time estimates from.  Is it an average of how long people tske to complete it?  Is it the advertiser's idea of how long it should take?  I've always wondered about that.  Does anyone know?

I don't know how it works.  I do know that sometimes if its a long survey (maybe 15 minutes) and you make it partway through, with Tap, you get paid more cents.  I just did one that was supposed to be 20 mins. and paid .14.  I got DQd after about 5 minutes and got .07.

I haven't tried TAP survey before. I found the regular survey pretty good, i.e. I don't quality most of the time, but once in a while I do qualify.

The nice thing about Tap is if you complete part and then get DQ'd, the cents you earn are not considered a bonus, so they count towards your .05 for the PTC.  The DQ pennies for FC surveys are bonuses and don't count.  Also, Tap pays the DQ money based on how much time you spent on the survey before DQ.  Somethimes that can be as much as .20.    You need to qualify for at least 1 Tap survey.....I don't know the magic number, but after a certain number of DQs, you wont get paid for them until you qualify.

Hope this helps.

I've never hit that number where dq.s stopped crediting because I usually get surveys I qualify for often enough

This morning, I began a TAP that said a short amount of minutes for 10 cents. I think that it was supposed to be about 8 minutes. Before it was all said and done, it took between 30 and 45 minutes for 10 cents.

Half way during the original survey, I got a message saying that the survey had been updated and then to continue. I have had this happen in the past and had the same problem when the survey became so long that I gave up. This time I chose to continue.

I did get my 10 cents which allows me to do tomorrow's PTC but it took at least 30 minutes and maybe longer. I almost gave up. I was watching the clock.

I did a Tap survey today that was supposed to be 4 minutes but was 27 minutes.  Of course it was about that nasty pest COVID-19.  It went to 100% completion and I got a 1 cent DQ!   I put in a ticket with Tap because I was annoyed.  Well, at least I made 5 cents there today for tomorrow's PTC.   :turkey:
:bad   UPDATE:  Tap credited me 50 cents and sent me a form letter and most important, FC correctly credited me for it.

I wrote about a morning experience with TAP on Fusion Cash yesterday. Later that day,  I went to another site that also offers TAP. I did a very long survey, submitted and got a message that I did not qualify for any surveys at this time.  I did not even get anything for a DQ.
