IMHO, I think it should be all the ESSENTIAL WORKERS... everybody putting themselves on the line & those who have stepped up to the task - UPS drivers, Grocery Store workers, etc...

Definitely all front-line workers need to be honored - medical, teachers, grocery clerks, gas station attendants, police, fire, etc.  THANK YOU to all who have served others unselfishly during this crisis!

I agree with the OP. This year (thus far) as definitely been the year of the health care worker. As the daughter of a physician assistant, and having a degree in the field of public health myself, I understand first hand the sacrifice and the danger these individuals exposure themselves to on a daily basis. No truer are these words than the deadly coronavirus pandemic that is dominating our world and the news. If anyone (individual or collective) deserves the spotlight on Time Magazine, it is most certainly the health care worker.

I also agree and the essential workers also.  And a shout out to teachers.  I don't think that I ever appreciated the job they do.  Getting 20 or more kids to be orderly and listen.
