so we came home the other day found one of our guinee pig dead,Not sure from what :did i feed it to many veggies ,did kids put something in the cage,did it get to hot,did it have a cold .We just dont know why the other one was in a cage on top of his cage and it is fine,fed them the same time same food.

He probably just died. Doesn't mean you had to do anything.

I had actually thought about that in passing however just heard on the local news that three cats  where tested positive for it, just didn't hear where

Kids are begging for another guinea pig at this moment I'm trying to dissuade them, as long as I can with the homeschooling its just not enough time to care for them

So Sorry for your loss,,,,  pets are part of the family also.  If they want another one make sure they know how to take care of it (not just you),,  you have enough to do with helping with online schooling and taking care of everything else.  The kids should be able to take care of the animals,,  not to hard to feed/water/ exercise

I thought it was interesting that all the zoo animals I read about that died from caronavirus were from the Cat Family.

So, sorry for your loss!  It's always hard to lose a Fur baby. I lost my in December 2, 2019! My last female cat. Maybe, you should take him to the vet to find out how he died.

It is so sad to lose a pet.  I just can't do it anymore since I lost my beloved baby that I am holding in my profile picture on here.  They say you live longer if you have pets but I just can't go through that again.  It is bad enough we have two old sister cats here that really belonged to my sons.  When they go that is it for me.  Well I am sorry for your loss hope the kids aren't too upset.

I completely agree with you, I just lost my last female cat(17yrs) in 12/02/19 she had to be put to sleep. I now only have my black 3 legged male cat(17yrs) he had his leg removed due to an infected paw in November 2018, I thought I was gonna lose him first but he's always been a surviver, a tough street cat I adopted as long as he fights to stay alive I'm gonna do everything I can to keep him happy & healthy. When the time comes for him to go.....He will be my last pet. I'm like you, I can't watch another pet die on me.It's just too hard. I'll continue to donate for animals but I can't fall in love with one only to be heart broken in the end when they have to go!
