Ugh, I know the feeling. Hopefully, in the next 3 - 5 years, the only bill I should be paying are a home (which I hope to purchase sooner rather than later) and the typical "luxury" bills (e.g., TV, phone, internet).

Same here, get check on 3rd and it is pretty much gone by 5th, bills paid, go to drugstore and groceries and not much left for unexpected things.

Personally, I dread the beginning of the month because it's a time to collect on a loan that I made.  I didn't know it was going to be so difficult to get the person to repay because I've loaned to her before.  She would've been living in her car with her kids if it weren't for me, now she's on social media regularly but acts as if she can barely check the email she contacted me on.  Next time she won't get the loan, believe me!

I don't loan money.  The only ones I would loan to would be if I were okay with not getting the money back.  I have a cousin who will be on Facebook crying about how she doesn't even have the money to buy a gallon of milk (and somebody will offer her money for groceries and she takes it) and then the week end comes and she posts a picture of herself at a steak house with a picture of her big steak dinner.  She also has no shame in getting on Facebook and asking for other things.  Then has no respect for it.  She tears it up and then is right back on there asking for the same item again.

It's good to get it out of the way as soon as possible because then you don't have the  stress of wondering if you forgot to pay something.  It's also a blessing to have the money to pay bills each month.  I volunteer at a soup kitchen and many people come up short especially this time of year.

I try to pay my bills as soon as they come in, so I don't forget.!   LOL  But most of them are due right at the end or the beginning so I pay all about the same time.

I pay bills twice a month. Once in the middle of the month when my social security check comes in when I pay my personal bills and once at the beginning when I have to give my hubby half of all the household bills, which he takes care of. Bills seem to be getting bigger and bigger every month. UGH!

I can not stand the beginning of the month either. I never know what my light and water bill is going to be. It is scary because I never know if I will have enough to pay them.

I think all bills are usually due about the 5th of the month.  I've completed mine.
