Some mosquitos in parts of the U.S. are carrying a virus that can kill people within days.

Eastern Equine Encephalitis, or EEE, is extremely rare but incredibly deadly virus, with a mortality rate of 30 percent. Health officials are warning residents in parts of New Jersey, Michigan and Massachusetts to avoid outdoor activity during dusk and dawn.

Gosh mosquitos are so annoying biting and biting you I was wondering if they pass on diseses too. Well here goes my answer. Thanks for the info!

I used to love to go out in my back yard and read in a pergola my hubby built for me, but this summer I hardly did that at all because I was so afraid of getting bitten by one of those mosquitos.

I worry about 2 of my granddaughters who get bitten every time they go outside, one of them gets welps. It is scary. We have tried multiple precautions but nothing works

That's scary.  Glad I don't live in any of those places.

If these mosquitoes are in these areas, they could very easily move to other areas if not brought under control quickly. As the conditions of the planet change, it is very likely that things will evolve to bring new challenges. Disease is just one of the things that can easily evolve and need to be dealt with.  Sorry to say, but we may not always be able to deal with such challenges easily.

I fear no mosquito i use easy off repelent that works pretty well and sometimes in the backyard this special candle that repels them as well
