My first Denied survey
« on: September 05, 2019, 01:39:12 pm »
Well, FC warned about going over $30 to cash out in case a survey gets denied. I'm always careful and consistent with my responses so I didn't worry about it. But it finally happened to me.

I have no recollection of which survey provider it was but it was an FC survey back in July. Luckily, because of the holidays and travelling I wasn't close to cashing out. Here I was bemoaning the fact that I couldn't cash out. Everything happens for a reason because if I'd made the $25, I would have cashed out, or tried to. And then THAT would have been denied.

I bet it was because I'm a fast reader and responder. I have to work on slowing down. Live and learn.

Anyone else have any recent denied surveys?

I usually try to get at least $30 before cashing out. I was only denied a survey once in my years of being with FC but that's because I usually don't qualify for surveys.  It was no big deal, only around 10 cents. :)

Here lately I have been cashing out every few months. This way I get over and above the required cashout amount needed. I am currently saving until the end of october so I can cashout just in time for the black friday  sale in november

They would have just taken the money from what you have earned toward your next cash out.  SO it would not have been a big deal.

Oh, is that how it works? You mean they won't deny your cashout if it falls belong the minimum $25? I've never cashed out since I'm new, but something similar has happened to me on another site and they denied my cashout.

I never worry about having a denial put me below the minimum $25 since it happens so seldom and if it does it just rolls over to the next month.

I've only been denied once since coming here years ago so I'm not worried about it and I'm well over $25 so it wouldn't matter

I no longer qualify for any FC surveys so I have not completed any in some time but over the years that I have been with FC, I have had about three survey payments revoked. One time, it did cause my cashout to go below $25 but the amount was added back to my account and I was able to cash out the following month with a higher than usual amount.

I have been on Fusion for close to five years now, I believe.  I would guess-timate that I get denied about 3-4 times per year.  However, I went through a period where I must have been denied 3-4 times in about 4-5 months.  I asked myself, "What is this about?" and was somewhat upset because I was not doing anything differently.  I decided to "grin and bear it" as long as it didn't stay on that course.  It didn't!

I rarely get denied on the survey sites I frequent. However, when it does happen I take it personally and ask myself, "What did I do wrong?" A denial is either they thought I wasn't being honest or I contradicted myself in the answers or something of that nature. I don't usually care if it's a low-paying survey but this one was a $0.30 survey. It just bugs me why it was denied. I wish they'd include a brief explanation so that I can be aware of what I did. I know I wasn't deliberately rushing but I have to work on slowing down and making sure I'm going slowly enough.

I did have to fight one denial on another site (one that came with the note that I was disqualified for being dishonest) because they asked for my mailing address and it happens to be different from my home address. They deemed that being dishonest because my answer conflicted with the qual questions they had on file at the survey company. I wrote to the company and explained the flaw in the question and my denial was reversed.

You are all right, though, I should just grin and bear it unless it becomes a pattern. Thanks everyone for all your input :)

I usually wait several months before cashing out, so being denied an actual cash out is not really an issue. Nonetheless, I have had only one survey reward revoked in the past.

I've had surveys revoked before and this happen to me many times. It's disappointing but if I been denied a credit for a survey, I just do other surveys that I can qualify for that I would not be denied.
