My girls always try to work together to keep each other up but before my lil sis came to live with us my daughter would always pull her hair to stay awake.

My grandson jumps around and gets into everything that he is not suppose to do just to keep awake.  Also wants to watch his tablet which will settle him down and he usually falls asleep while he is watching

When my kids and I moved into my Mom's basement after I divorced there Dad, I hung curtains from PVC pipes I secured to the rafters.  One night I crawled on my hands and knees towards my kids beds to scare em.  We had so much fun doing this... night after night either myself or one of the kids would crawl along the floor to scare one another.  Until one night when we all bonked heads with one another.  We all laughed ourselves to sleep.

My kids were  always played out by the time  bed time came around, One  glass of water or 1 potty time extra. But I  would read to them every night and it would not be long before  sleepy eyes would start. they never had any of  this electronic  stuff.  I  don't think it is the best thing for them any way. Reading to them is a much better way of  bonding. Besides you would get  another  cuddle of the day.
