Good advice RE a xtian being armed

https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2017484#h=1:0-15:167

Wow! I totally don't believe that post by the Christian Scientists. Some of their beliefs are way off the mark.

And I don't like the moniker xtian. Just my particular POV. It may be politically correct, but it seems to avoid the name of Christ intentionally.

Putting an X in the place of Christ name IS not politically correct.  It IS leaving Christ out of it and it is done on purpose.

I have learned a lot of people believe a lot of wack things totally against the Bible even though they claim to believe the Bible.  God's Word is not a buffet where you pick and choose which verses to believe and which to throw out.

God also does not give certain people inside knowledge to explain the Bible to every one else.  lol.

I have never owned a gun but I am still against this policy.

I think maybe they should do a better background check and maybe even a psychological review. But asking people to give up their guns will never work.

They do a background check.  That is enough.  I do not agree with a physiological review.  That is foolish.  If you have been diagnosed with mental illness that will show up on a background check.  The people who go out and carry out massive crimes are not obeying the law anyway. Not sure how that is so hard for people to understand.

It is the same as saying okay all cars have to be turned in.  We will have public transportation and you can use that.  Too many people drive drunk, text and drive, just drive carelessly, so yep we will just end the rights of everyone to own a car.  We will have people who do have cars that we deem are mature enough to have one and they can shuttle you around for a price.  It is no different at all.  You cannot punish everyone for the crimes of a few stupid people.
