I do my best to get my posts done early in the month.  That doesn't always happen.

I never have been a procrastinator.  :angel11: And I really enjoy posting on the forum and reading other people's posts.  :icon_rr: So I have no problem getting my posts in on time.

Guess I'm practically perfect; like Mary Poppins.  :star:

I try to do at least 2 or 3 each day.  Some days even more so I can finish the 30 posts around the 25th or 26th of the month and go ahead and submit.

What if you set a goal to complete two posts a day starting at the beginning of the month? It (usually) works for me and results in completing the 30 posts by the 15th of every month. It makes it seem easier, breaking it down like that.

I am always able to get the 30 post limit when I tried each month for it. I usually wait until the evenings when I know I am less busy and able to complete at least 2 or more posts at the time. I look for topics that interest me and relate to my life that I know I will be able to post something to help move along the conversation or something helpful. I can usually do several in a row following that pattern. Sometimes I skip a couple days between posts to rest and not pressure myself. The biggest motivator is the bonus so that usually helps prevent any procrastination for me.

I'm a huge procrastinator but I find that I work more efficiently when under pressure.

That's a good point because when we have less to do we're more likely to get caught up on things we know we need to do.

It really depends on the workflow I have every week but I too feel like I always scramble near the end.

Every month I tell myself that I will not wait until the last few days to complete my posts but I continue to do the same thing.  Any suggestions on how to overcome this problem.  What do you do to force yourself to stop putting things off until later.

I try to set aside a day or two in the first 2 weeks of the month to try and make about a dozen posts. Then, I come back for replies. Then, I'll usually come back in the last week or so to finish up.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

I try to make a couple posts each.  But sometimes I get on a roll and do 5 or 6.

I make sure that my memory works well enough for me to get things done that should get done before the last minute.
